The US-LT RCD is a non-regulatory public benefit district overseen by a volunteer board consisting of up to nine individuals that are landowners, farmers and ranchers within our district boundaries. We help people protect, conserve, and restore natural resources through information, education, and technical assistance programs. Because we are a quasi-state not-for-profit organization, we function with the aid of grants, sponsorships, donations, volunteer assistance and other charitable contributions.

We need the help of your tax deductible contributions. US-LT RCD is classified as a Sec. 501(c)(1) organization and as such, any donations or gifts to the district qualify as charitable contributions under IRS Code Section 170 (b) and 170 (c)(1) and may be deductible as such on the donor’s income tax return. Any donor should be advised to consult with their tax advisor regarding specific circumstances surrounding their own tax situation. A receipt for tax reporting purposes will be provided.
