A New Member of Our Team

In late October, Audrey Weichert joined the US-LTRCD team as the Conservation Technician.

Audrey graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2007 with a degree in Environmental Management and Protection with minors in Biology and Land Rehabilitation. She began her career as a Biologist with a local environmental consulting firm in Paso Robles where her primary responsibilities included conducting wildlife and botanical surveys, habitat assessments, preparing biological resource documents, and managing various regulatory permitting projects in the region. Audrey also volunteers at the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History as their docent Curator of Mammals and occasionally leads birding field trips for the Morro Coast Audubon Society with her husband. She has lived on the Central Coast for over 30 years and is thrilled to join the US-LT RCD team!
