US-LT RCD Experience
The US-LT RCD specializes in the preparation of watershed management plans, stream restoration, biological studies, ranch management plans, farm plan preparation, stream morphological studies, feasibility analysis, erosion control, water quality monitoring, conflict resolution, conservation easements, site constraint evaluations, planning, and engineering design. The US-LT RCD plans wetland restoration, waterways, designs erosion control measures, conducts surveys, and defines design solutions which reduce stream channel erosion and soil loss related to inadequate land management practices.
The US-LT RCD has the personnel, the capabilities, the hardware and software needed for conducting technical research, preparing environmental and feasibility studies, developing plans, mapping, preparing environmental documents, and assists landowners in obtaining required permits. Located in Templeton USDA Agricultural Service Center, the US-LT RCD has a cooperative agreement with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), providing added capabilities to solve difficult problems. In addition, the US-LT RCD regularly contracts with other technical sub-consultants and agencies in specialized disciplines to meet the needs of the client. The US-LT RCD provides efficient and flexible project staffing to meet the client's needs. The US-LT RCD utilizes the most efficient and cost effective methods of research, report preparation and production.
