Dolores Howard, Director
Dolores Howard has been farming organically for the last 12 years, and has a keen interest in environmental justice, building soil health, conserving natural resources, and in restoring habitat to attract native pollinators and wildlife. She serves on the Natural Resources Committee of the SLO League of Women Voters, the Conservation Committee of the Santa Lucía Sierra Club, and as Environmental At-Large Alternate Member of the SLO County Water Resources Advisory Committee and volunteers for the SLO Beaver Brigade. Dolores holds a Masters degree (1986) in Hispanic Literature from UC Santa Bárbara and has taught English as a Second Language at Santa Bárbara City College for 35 years.
